Getting started
RezAI keeps your resume as structured data, lets you edit it by chatting with an AI assistant, and renders clean, job-tailored PDFs. Here's the path from a fresh account to your first tailored resume.
1. Sign in
Sign in with Google, or register with your email — we'll send you a sign-up link to set a password and activate your account.
2. Add your resume
You have two ways to get your content in:
- Import a PDF. On the Import page, upload your existing resume. We extract your experience, education, skills, and contact details into structured data, and you review everything before it's saved.
- Answer the questionnaire. Prefer to start clean? The guided questionnaire walks you through the same fields step by step, starting with the basics (only your name is required to begin).
Either way, your resume ends up as structured, editable data — not a frozen document. See Editing your resume for what that looks like.
3. Preview your first PDF
Head to the Preview page to render your resume as a PDF. Pick a theme, check the layout, and download it. If a render fails, it's almost always a formatting rule — see Previewing & exporting PDFs.
4. Tailor it to a job
Open the chat and paste a job description, or save a posting to your Jobs board and click Tailor. The AI restructures your content to match the role's keywords and priorities. AI output is for your review — always verify it before sending it to an employer. Details in Tailoring & cover letters.
